met jocelyn, jiaqi, david, wenkang and zhangteng at JE.. headed to bugis and actually planned to eat seoul garden... but to our dismay, d time for student plan was over and we were like bout half an hour late... so had quite a hard time deciding whr to eat instead... we chose either marina to have steamboat or at pastamania's... some chose to go to marina because it is unlimited time and it's cheap... some chose pastamania because marina is too far and two cant make it... d vote was 3-3... met up with rachel, junko and darren... we tossed a coin for d answer and it was Pastamania... spent a total of 9 bucks for my meal... after dinner, went to 77th street and bought a top wit a big letter M in d middle... i'm proud to say my name is "ming min"(: after tt, we headed upstairs to take neoprints:D
took an hour to decide where to countdown... after tt hour, we decided to go to jurong lake park... took an mrt back to jp and bought some chips and drinks there... met up with lihsheng and they went back to my house to eat cup noodles... after tt, we went to JLP... saw marina, minyi, jialing and fitri (hope i din get their names wrongly)... was kinda surprised cos i nvr expected to meet anybody there as most of d ppl should be at boonlay, vivo or town to countdown with d crowd... lol... played dis balancy thing which is slanted and tends to spin around and around... any person to fall will be given d "treatment"... QU NA LI *accompanied by d 7-up hand sign*... lol... climbed d pyramid... d air up there was chilly and i went down... walked off with zhangteng and shared some problems with him... on d way, we said "happy new year!" to anybody we see... walked back and played at d swings made of planks and wheels... soon, we heard fireworks frm afar and we knew YEAR 2008 HAS ARRIVED!:D while d rest went to play at a bouncy corner... i requested to take a pic with marina and friends... asked one particular person to take a photo for us and tt person was damn funny man! take one photo oso stand so far... and we asked him to take another one... dis time, we measured and stood properly 1st and told him where to stand... we were already smiling for so long and den he asked "ready?"... we were like WTH!!! lol... i couldn't stand it i kept holding back my laughters... tsk! den joined back d peeps(: jumped and jumped and took several fun photos:D
in conclusion, i've enjoyed my countdown ytd... thanks loads 2/1'o6... love ya'll!
